They say that every artist has their own muse. If this is true, is it not logical to assume that every artist also has his or her own demon? In the case of the famed Leonardo Da Vinci, the artist’s vision and creativity went well beyond his years. Was it just pure inspiration or something much darker? Perhaps a clue can be found in Mona Lisa grin. They say if you stare long and hard enough you too will see what lies behind that insidious grin. But be warned, Leonardo’s been long dead and Mona’s still looking to possess…ah, I mean, she’s still looking for a little “artistic freedom.”
